It was a gorgeous New Years Day. Makayla has been wanting to hike out to the king and ski down, today was they day. 
I told her I was not going to carry her skis for her. She did great and carried them the whole way, we made it in less than an hour. 
Us at the top. She told me next time she was only going to wear one set of long johns! She was sweating from head to toe. 
Yes, we made it down also, behind her is the peak we hiked to.
