XC Running Race for ALL

The kids did there first XC running race.  I hadn't signed Miles up but he insisted on doing it, love it!!
Only a few preschool kids showed up on a rainy Saturday morning at 9am....
Miles came in 2nd place, he was so happy
Aleah's group had 18 kids and were to run 9/10 of a miles.  Here is her and Cole battling it out for the Gold.
Cole managed to hold her off for the win.  Maybe next year she will wear shoes with laces in them.  Nutty kids, yes she insisted on wearing shoes with no laces......
Makayla had her work cut out for her on the 1.2 miles course.  She and one boy battled the whole race
 Oh, almost done
Yes she did it and came home with the Gold, she was very happy!

Barnyard Moosical

Our Goat and  Chicken did a great job in the latest play, it was directed by 4 high school students who learned a lot about teaching young kids!!
Aleah was a chicken and Miles a goat- please note the goat next to Miles gave him a hard time the whole play, she did not stand in the proper spot and Miles was not about to have that....
Yes, just a goats do Miles used his elbows to move her over.....
The Chicken's did a great job!!
This was Miles first play he was sooo excited and did a great job.  It was only 5-7 year olds,  Aleah was a great leader!
