Day 7- Yellowstone Day 2

Kepler's Cascades
being cute

Old Faithful for you

No, no one is going to cooperate for a picture

We exited Yellowstone at the north and found a great campground, Miles built Bark Mountain

Day 6- Yellowstone

We entered the South entrance of Yellowstone- first stop was Lewis Falls
Next stop was the West Thumb- here we have a Mud Pot

The kids enjoyed the board walk

Behind us in Yellowstone Lake some pools and thermals

Happy Father's Day Dad. We made camp at Bridge Bay

Day 5- Wedding Day

You know we had to go back and ride horses in the morning!
The girls were the flower girls in my cousin Meredith's wedding. They have been asking since Thanksgiving- " when is the wedding Mom" I am happy to see this day!

Oh yes the girls fell in love with all of the brides maids

Aleah danced the night away

Yes Makayls found a few boys to dance also. Everyone had a great time.

Day 4- Jackson Lake

The girls have been waiting 6 months to come ride horses in Wyoming- so here we are.
They were very excited

Makayla told me this was what she has been waiting to do her whole life!

They both could have stayed at the stables all day and night.

Day 3- Working our way to Wyoming

Rest stop - Miles had a complete blow out ( by the way this was at least the third time on the trip) we had to pull over to hose him off and eat some lunch
When I was a kid my Dad would always pull over and check out every ski area we passed on our family road trips. Guess what my husband does the same thing

Of course everyone would like to come back when we had some snow to play on.

Day 2- Angle Roost ID

We left Potholes and made out way toward Wyoming

We had to let everyone out to burn of some energy, Makayla had a bit more than everyone else.

It finally happened, Makayla has been waiting all year to loose a tooth!

Camp spot at Angler's Roost- photo by Aleah!

13 Day Road Trip- Day 1 Potholes

Road Trip Watterson style- destination Jackson Wyoming with the roundabout way home.
First stop was Mar Don Resort Potholes Washington- the kids enjoyed fishing and the playground
Miles loved the slide

Ready to go

Makayla's catch

Aleah did much better this time around, last time we were her she was Miles age, she threw her pole in the lake before we made it out of the docks!
