The girls first ski race of the year. This was Aleah's first race every, she has been waiting a long time to be able to race, needless to say she was very excited. 
It was a stormy weekend with lots of snow and cold weather. It didn't seem to bother the girls. This is Makayla

Aleah took 6th place both days!! Makayla took a 19th out of 29 and missed a gate the other day. All had a fun weekend. 
The ice storm did arrive.....
It soudned like a war zone out side every 3 seconds another branch or tree was breaking

Both girls qualified for the fun run this fall

The finish of the mile + and look the girls are stride for stride.... I know Aleah slowed down... I asked Aleah why she didn't pass Makayla... the answer " oh no Mom I don't want to make her mad" Oh what am I going to do.... The girls finished top 20 out of 150 or so kids. Nice work girls!
